Daily Worker Wages in Bali 2026: Rates by Role & Area
Daily Worker Wages in Bali 2026: Rates by Role & Area
The Bali hospitality market is the most liquid in Indonesia. Each week hundreds of housekeeping, steward, F&B, bartender, and driver shifts are posted on our platform, and rates continue to shift with season, area, and hotel tier. This article summarises what we see in the field โ not numbers we guessed.
How We Collect the Numbers
Every shift posted on Daily Worker Hub flows through our
bookingShifts table and stores the gross daily rate offered by the
business. The numbers below are an aggregation of the last six months,
grouped by role and area, trimmed to P25โP75 bands so outliers don't
dominate. If you operate in hospitality and want more specific
benchmarks by tier, see our Bali pillar page.
Daily Rate Table by Role and Area

Update 2026-07-20: These figures reflect averages from shifts posted on the platform over the last six months. For five-star ITDC Nusa Dua, rates can rise 20โ30% above the P75 band during MICE events or the Australian peak season.
Why Nusa Dua Rates Are Higher
Nusa Dua is the ITDC (Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation) enclave โ a four- to five-star resort zone with the highest operational standards on the island. K3 Kemenaker certification is almost always required for kitchen and housekeeping, English is the baseline, and onboarding may take the first 1โ2 shifts on-site. That is why daily rates here run 20โ30% above other areas, and are most sensitive to peak season.
How to Set Your Rate as a Worker
If you are a daily worker, here are three principles we see in the field:
- Repeat-order rates are always higher โ businesses comfortable with a trusted worker tend to offer 10โ20% above the initial posted rate when an event shift opens up.
- Don't undercut competitors long-term โ large first-time discounts attract invitations but erode your position for the second shift.
- Publish availability early โ workers who update availability 7โ14 days ahead receive more weekend invitations.

Compute Your Take-Home Pay
There is no platform fee, so gross = take-home. Our free calculator at /en/calculator computes the estimated take-home per shift โ including overtime and tips.
